Terms of sale
Last updated 1 June 2026
These are the terms on which we sell you a timepiece. We have kept them short, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
Who you are buying from
Kalonda SA is registered in Geneva, Switzerland, at Rue du Rhône 42, 1204 Geneva. When you order from this site, your contract is with us and with nobody else.
A contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing, not when you place it. If we cannot supply a piece — because it has just been sold, or because it will not pass our own inspection — we will tell you and charge you nothing.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include delivery, insurance in transit, and any duties or import taxes owed on the way to you.
We take payment only once a watchmaker has checked the piece and it is ready to leave the atelier. A made-to-order piece is paid for when it is finished, not when it is commissioned.
Delivery
Pieces held in Geneva leave within two working days of your order being confirmed. Made-to-order pieces take around fourteen weeks, and we will tell you if that changes.
Risk passes to you when the courier hands the parcel over against a signature. Until then it is ours, and it is insured for its full value.
Returning a timepiece
You may return any piece within thirty days of receiving it, for any reason, provided it is unworn and comes back with its case and papers.
We arrange and pay for the collection, and refund you in full within five working days of the piece reaching the atelier. This sits alongside your statutory rights and does not replace them.
Warranty
Every timepiece carries a five-year international warranty against faults in the movement, the materials or the assembly. It follows the watch rather than the buyer.
It does not cover accidental damage, water ingress through a crown left unscrewed, a scratched glass or a strap worn out with use. We will quote for all of those, and the quotation is fixed before we start.
If something goes wrong
Write to clients@kalonda.com. We answer every message within one working day and we would far rather settle a complaint ourselves than have anyone go looking for a lawyer.
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Nothing in them limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
Anything here that is unclear, ask us: clients@kalonda.com.
